BIG: Ukrainian drones reached Russia's Arkhangelsk region for the first time, roughly 1,800-1,900 km from the Ukrainian border, with preliminary reports suggesting they targeted Plesetsk Cosmodrome.

Russia claims roughly 40 drones were destroyed over the region.

A local official said the drones targeted "strategic facilities."

Plesetsk is Russia's main military spaceport, used for satellite launches, ICBM testing including the Sarmat, and Russia's Starlink-equivalent Rassvet constellation.
