On the night of August 24, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the enterprise of the Russian military-industrial complex "Kombinat Kamensky", located in the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov Region, Russia.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

They said that after the strikes, a fire broke out on the territory of the enterprise. The extent of the damage is currently being determined.

The department added that Kombinat Kamensky produces solid rocket fuel for ammunition for the Uragan, Smerch, and Tornado-S multiple launch rocket systems, as well as for a number of missile systems and aircraft weapons.

Previously, the Governor of the Rostov Region of the Russian Federation, Yuriy Slyusar, confirmed that on the night of August 24, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked four cities in the region, including Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, with drones and cruise missiles.

This is not the first time Ukrainian soldiers have attacked the Kamensky Combine. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the latest strikes on it on August 16, 2026.
