Russian ballistic strike kills two, injures eight in Kyiv region.

Two people were killed and eight others injured in a Russian ballistic missile strike in the Boryspil' district of the Kyiv region on August 22.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by Timur Tkachenko, Head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.

He said the number of injured people and their condition are still being clarified. All those affected are receiving the necessary medical assistance.

The attack damaged a warehouse facility, a parking lot, vehicles, a private household and a gas station.

All emergency services are working at the scene. Specialists continue to deal with the aftermath of the enemy attack.

Later, Tkachenko reported on Telegram that the death toll had risen to two.

According to him, two people were killed in the enemy attack in the Boryspil' district – a man and a woman.

The number of injured also rose to eight, including one child.

All those injured are receiving the necessary medical assistance.

As reported by Ukrinform, an air raid alert was declared for the second time on August 22 in Kyiv and a number of regions due to the threat of ballistic missile strikes.
