According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, Chairman of the Board of Ukrainian Railways.
“Another night of terrorist strikes on the railway. In Darnytsia, one of the railway facilities came under a ballistic missile strike. It occurred simultaneously with—or perhaps even a second before—the ballistic threat appeared; we are currently clarifying the details. One of our employees—a foreman—was killed at the scene. The rest were promptly evacuated after the first strike,” Pertsovskyi said.
According to him, the Odesa Railway also came under attack. The railway station in Rozdilna was damaged.
“The damage is already being dealt with promptly, and the enemy has failed to disrupt our rail operations,” Pertsovskyi emphasized.
As Ukrinform reported, one person was killed and several others were injured in Kyiv as a result of a Russian missile strike overnight on August 22.
