Russian strike on Mykolaiv region kills four, including three children.

Four people, including three children, were killed in an evening Russian strike on the Mykolaiv region.

Ukrainian Interior Minister Ivan Vyhivskyi reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Russian forces struck the Mykolaiv region in the evening. Four people were killed, including three children. According to preliminary information, two of the children were 11 years old and the third was 12. A store, pharmacy and post office caught fire. Our units are at the site of the attack, establishing all the circumstances," he said.

He also said that rescue operations were continuing in Kryvyi Rih.

"In the first minutes after the strike on one of the city's largest shopping and entertainment centers, police officers and rescuers began evacuating visitors, providing first aid and extinguishing the fire. At that point, Russian forces launched a second strike. Fortunately, most civilians and our personnel managed to move to a safe distance," Vyhivskyi said.

"Some people are in serious condition. Residents continue to seek medical assistance. Police and State Emergency Service psychologists are also working at the site. Extinguishing the fire is complicated by the ongoing threat of further shelling. The fire has engulfed one-third of the entire complex. All necessary services of the Interior Ministry system are involved in extinguishing the fire and assisting civilians," the minister said.

As reported, the death toll from the Russian strike on a shopping center in Kryvyi Rih rose to 14, with 121 people injured.
