A 54-year-old man entered a hospital carrying a firearm suspected to be a pistol in his shoulder bag. The pistol reportedly fell from the bag and discharged accidentally. The man was processed under free-state proceedings, while his 18-year-old son was declared wanted on suspicion of hiding the firearm to obstruct the investigation. A 54-year-old hospital IT worker was also processed on suspicion of obstructing the discovery of the truth.
