During a conflict, a 36-year-old man was struck with the butt of a pistol by a 41-year-old man and a 27-year-old man. The two men fled by vehicle after the incident, while an off-duty police officer suspected of involvement in the conflict was escorted for procedural actions. At the scene, investigators seized one pistol shell casing as material evidence, and it was suspected that one shot had been fired into the air with a pistol. The police oversight agency also seized the off-duty officer’s service weapon as part of the investigation.
