Joint revolutionary forces launched mine attacks targeting a terrorist military column and an infantry ambush patrol in Myinmu Township, Sagaing Region, and Myaing Township, Magway Region, killing three junta soldiers, local sources said.

Today, August 18, at around 7:30 AM, revolutionary forces attacked soldiers departing from the terrorist military camp at the Myaung Junction in Myinmu Township to set up an infantry patrol, using directional mines, a local source told Khit Thit Media.

Following the mine strike, military forces returned indiscriminate fire using light weapons, while the Myaung Junction camp fired heavy artillery. However, revolutionary comrades were able to withdraw without sustaining any casualties.
