A woman was killed after the terrorist military launched unprovoked air strikes on villages in the southeastern part of Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region, according to a statement from the Wetlet Township PaKaPha and local residents.

Today, August 18, between 6:46 AM and 6:51 AM, two jet fighters taking off from Tadau Air Base carried out a total of three airstrikes on villages in southeastern Wetlet Township.

Because the airstrikes targeted civilians without any active ground combat taking place, a female resident was killed and several homes were damaged.
