Today at around 6:40 AM, Military Council forces used a jet fighter to bomb Ward 8(A) in Thandwe Town. As a result of the air attack, U Min Naung (aged 50) and his daughter Ma Choon Lae Shwe Yi (aged 14), who resided in the ward, were killed on the spot.

Additionally, U Zay Yar Min Lwin (aged 45), Maung Shwe Moe Yan Zaw (aged 2), and Daw Htay Htay Maw (aged 40) sustained severe injuries from bomb shrapnel, while a total of seven residential homes and buildings were damaged, the AA stated.
