A young man was killed when an explosive device left over from the former regime detonated in the village of Nabaa al-Sakhr, in the southern countryside of Quneitra province. War remnants have killed at least 163 people across Syria this year, according to data through early May from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, including 102 men, 54 children and seven women, with a further 223 wounded.
