SAA event in Mexico on Mon 17th August 2026

Elements of the Ministerial Agency of Criminal Investigation carried out the in-flagrant arrest of five male individuals during an operational deployment in the Casa Bonita Residencial subdivision, located in Hermosillo, Sonora. During the intervention aimed at citizen security and regional stability, authorities seized three firearms of the pistol type, a Mazda vehicle, and various packages containing substances with characteristics of methamphetamine and marijuana.

The detained individuals were formally identified as Jaime Heberto "N" and/or Jaime Heriberto "N", Iván Osvaldo "N", Diego Alejandro "N", Óscar Iván "N", and Miguel Eduardo "N", who face charges for possession of a firearm exclusive to the Armed Forces and crimes against health.

It is noteworthy that Jaime Heberto "N" had eight active arrest warrants for serious offenses such as disappearance committed by private individuals, criminal association, and aggravated illegal deprivation of liberty. All evidence and the accused were placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor's Office to continue the investigations under strict respect for due process.
