The operation was carried out on José María Bocanegra Street, in the neighborhood known as El Pozo, as part of investigation and security actions.

A large police operation led by members of Fuerza Civil was registered during the early hours of this Friday in the vicinity of the Industrial neighborhood, in the municipality of Monterrey.

The deployment began around 5:30 a.m., when state police officers concentrated in the area known as "El Pozo", particularly on José María Bocanegra Street.

According to initial reports, the operation resulted in at least three arrests, as well as the seizure of firearms.

It was reported that during the authorities' actions, short and long weapons were located and seized, although the characteristics and exact quantity of the seized weaponry have not yet been made public.

The mobilization generated anticipation among residents and merchants of the area, due to the deployment of police units in the streets of this sector of Monterrey.

Civil Force officers maintained a presence in the area while the corresponding actions were carried out and the procedures related to the detained persons and the seized weapons were performed.

So far, the authorities have not officially released the identities of those arrested or the crimes they are accused of, so their legal status will be determined as the investigation progresses.
