Two people have been arrested and detained after a detonation in Bunkeflostrand in Malmö on Tuesday evening. According to the police, a gate was damaged. Apartments in two stairwells in the property had to be evacuated.

A detonation occurred at 9:22 p.m. outside a gate on Skånegårdsvägen.

There was damage to the door to the stairwell, but no one was injured.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of the crime.

– We have arrested two people aged 18 and I will not go into any details about how we got hold of them, says Leif Fransson, police spokesperson.

The individuals were later arrested.

It was not until 3:23 a.m. that the technicians were able to leave the scene and the blockades were lifted.
