Missile event in Ukraine on Wed 12th August 2026

On 12 August 2026, Russian Forces conducted a combination of air, drone, mortar, and artillery strikes in the Sumska community and Sumy city (coded to Sumy city, Sumy). Civilian infrastructure facilities, shop premises, and private residential buildings were damaged. No casualties. Russian forces (units of the 'North' group using operational-tactical aviation, combat UAVs, missile forces, and artillery) struck the Ukrainian personnel and equipment, including two territorial defense brigades (coded to Pysarivka) near Sumy city.
