On 11 August 2026, in Min Yar village (Paungbyin township, Mawlaik district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military fired two 120mm heavy weapons into the village at around noon. A 56-year-old civilian woman was killed, and another was injured. On the same day, the Myanmar military dropped rockets and fired machine guns from a Mi-35 jet from the Homalin airbase at around 1:30 pm. The Myanmar military conducted another airstrike with 3 gyrocopters at around 2:30 pm. Some civilian houses were destroyed. Casualties unknown. 1 fatality.
