On 11 August 2026, in Naung Yin village (Paungbyin township, Mawlaik district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military fired two 120mm heavy weapons into the village at around noon. On the same day, the Myanmar military dropped rockets and fired machine guns from a Mi-35 jet from the Homalin airbase at around 1:30 pm. Casualties unknown.
