On 12 August 2026, UBA militants detonated explosives targeting the main Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) gas pipeline near Gogurt area in Bolan Valley (Kachhi, Balochistan), damaging the pipeline and disrupting gas supply to multiple cities. Militants also abducted three non-local civilians (likely Punjabi, given previous similar incidents) travelling in vehicles near the site. There were no casualties.
