On 10 August 2026, between Chaung Son village and Kan Hnit Sint village (coded as Kan Hnit Sint) (Tatkon township, Oke Ta Ra district, Nay Pyi Taw union territory), the People's Defense Force - Beikthano conducted a mine attack using 8 cluster mines against the advancing Myanmar military column at around 10:48 am. The column consisting of about 60 troops was marching from the Yadanar Myay area toward Kan Hnit Sint village. The attack killed 6 military soldiers and injured 8 others. 6 fatalities.
