On 9 August 2026, BRG militants detonated explosives and destroyed two electricity transmission towers and severely damaged two others near Piro Pul close to Mir Hassan town in Naseerabad district (Nasirabad, Balochistan). The targeted towers carried electricity from the Uch Power Plant to Punjab. There were no casualties.
