Around 8 August 2026, Israeli forces of the 55th Special Operations Group deployed remotely guided robots to locate tunnel entrances around Ali al Taher hill (Al Nabatieh, Al Nabatieh) and pumped a toxic gas into tunnels leading to the underground complex. This comes as Hezbollah and IRGC members remain trapped within the complex. Casualties unknown.
