On 12 August 2026, in Quebradon (Algeciras, Huila), members of the Ivan Diaz FARC dissident front ambushed and attacked military troops with an explosive device, killing two soldiers and injuring at least 15 others. The troops were heading to El Paraiso sector to verify a report about an explosive cylinder left in the area. 2 fatalities.
