Strategic blows against extortion in Michoacán. The Security Cabinet coordinated 11 simultaneous raids in the municipalities of Uruapan and Ziracuaretiro to dismantle criminal networks that were devastating the avocado, cattle, and meat sectors. Inter-institutional actions by the Ministry of Security and Citizen Protection, the Ministry of National Defense, the National Guard, and the Attorney General's Office resulted in the arrest of 12 people. Among those captured is Cristian Maximiliano “N”, alias “X1”, an operative for the organization known as Los Caballeros Templarios (The Knights Templar). The operations resulted in the seizure of six firearms, vehicles, a signal jammer, tactical equipment, narcotics, and cash. Our team on the ground confirmed the deployment of the Security Cabinet following the legal proceedings.
