SAA event in Mexico on Tue 11th August 2026

Nine people were arrested and an arsenal was seized in three coordinated operations in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, carried out by the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA), the Secretariat of the Navy, the National Guard, the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection, and the State Preventive Police. These operations were aimed at guaranteeing public safety and institutional security. The raids resulted in the seizure of six rifles, 50 magazines, 1,350 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, seven tactical vests, explosives, cash, and dozens of doses of marijuana, cocaine, and crystal meth. These operations complement preventive patrols for the protection of assets and the preservation of public order along the Pacific coast.
