SAA event in Mexico on Thu 13th August 2026

A joint operation between state and federal forces in the municipality of Parral, Chihuahua, resulted in the arrest of Uriel L. P., accused of conducting surveillance and observation for criminal organizations in remote areas. The operation took place in the community of Matamoros using unmanned aerial technology. Inspection drones located an improvised camp in the mountainous region, allowing law enforcement agencies to advance and safeguard public safety and stability in the area. During the search, authorities seized a bag of suspected marijuana, three solar panels, two magazine pouches, and two cell phones used for data transmission. Our reporter was on site and observed the security and inspection maneuvers. The suspect and the seized items were turned over to the public prosecutor's office.
