SAA event in Mexico on Sun 9th August 2026

A joint operation by the Interinstitutional Group resulted in the arrest of 28 criminals—including two women belonging to a criminal organization—and the seizure of a significant arsenal during patrols conducted this Saturday, August 8, in the community of El Roble, in the rural area of ​​Mazatlán, Sinaloa. The operation was carried out by members of the Mexican Army and the National Guard during reconnaissance patrols, in which the Mexican Navy (Semar), the Ministry of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), the Attorney General's Office (FGR), the State Attorney General's Office (FGE), and the State Preventive Police participated in a coordinated effort. During the operation, security forces seized the following equipment, which is for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces: 15 rifles, 94 magazines, 2,924 rounds of 7.62×39 mm ammunition, 40 rounds of .50 caliber ammunition, 8 tactical vests with 16 ballistic plates.
