Russian drones strike Chernihiv, hitting garage cooperatives, several businesses.

Russian forces attacked Chernihiv with Geran drones overnight and in the morning of August 13, hitting several locations, including garage cooperatives and a number of businesses.

Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Last night and this morning, the Russians attacked Chernihiv with Gerans. There were hits at several locations. Garage cooperatives and several businesses came under attack. Firefighters were working at the sites of the strikes," he wrote.

According to the regional governor, Russian forces also struck Horodnia in the Chernihiv region with a Gerbera drone yesterday evening. A utility building caught fire and residential property was damaged. A 10-year-old girl was injured, suffering a superficial mechanical skin injury and experiencing stress.

A Gerbera drone also struck a gas station in the Ripky community overnight, causing a fire that was extinguished. Houses were damaged in the community, Chaus said.

Earlier, Ukrinform reported that three people had been injured in Russian attacks in the Chernihiv region over the previous 24 hours.
