Several shots were fired through an apartment door in Trångsund on Sunday night. There were several people in the apartment, but no one was injured.

– We are carrying out an operation in Stockholm, said Ola Österling at the police station at half past two.

At 1:04 a.m. on Sunday night, several people called in about a gunshot being fired at an apartment door in Trångsund in Huddinge municipality.

“Most of the calls came from residents of the property,” said Ola Österling at the police station at half past two.

First, a window to the gate of the high-rise building, located in the city center, was broken.

– And then the perpetrator went high up in the property, where he fired several shots into this apartment door.

Big police chase

Several people were in the apartment during the shooting, but no one was injured and none were minors.

– We are carrying out an operation in Stockholm, in the southern region, where we are looking for one or more perpetrators.

The police are searching with dogs, securing technical evidence on site and obtaining films.

– We have several surveillance cameras there that are connected to our own surveillance center, and we review those films, said Österling.

As of 10 a.m. Sunday, no one had been arrested. The cordons were lifted at 8 a.m. A criminal investigation into attempted murder and aggravated weapons offenses has been opened.
