Troops Recover IED Along Ngoshe–Pulka Road in Borno

Troops of 81 Division Task Force Battalion, Operation HADIN KAI, have recovered an improvised explosive device (IED) along the Ngoshe–Pulka road in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State.

A military source told Zagazola Makama that the IED was discovered by troops during operations along the strategic route, which links communities within the Gwoza axis.

The recovery of the device prevented a potential attack against troops, commuters and other road users. The troops subsequently secured the area and commenced necessary procedures to safely neutralise the explosive device.
