During military operations, troops from the 10th Light Infantry Battalion "Colonel Atanasio Girardot," of the Fourth Brigade, engaged in a firefight in the village of Biogui, Ituango, #Antioquia, against alleged members of the Clan del Golfo Organized Armed Group. As a result of the military action, alias "Lucho," the alleged regional leader of the Clan del Golfo, was captured. He was wounded and received first aid while being evacuated to a medical center. During the operation, a pistol, three magazines, ammunition of various calibers, two cell phones, doctrinal materials, and a multipurpose vest were seized, impacting the armed and logistical capabilities of this criminal organization. The troops of the #FourthBrigade continue to conduct offensive operations to protect the civilian population, neutralize threats, and weaken the structures that affect the security and peace of the people of Antioquia.
