An operation by the State Guard in the Parían neighborhood of Ciudad Mier, Tamaulipas, resulted in the seizure of a high-powered arsenal abandoned by an organized crime group after the arrival of law enforcement. Members of the Immediate Reaction Force (FIR) responded to the area following an alert from the C5 command center. During the inspection, seven firearms, including a Barrett rifle, were seized and secured by authorities, along with two vehicles, 14 magazines, 109 rounds of ammunition, two bulletproof vests, and 40 tire-puncturing devices. Our reporter was on site and confirmed the deployment of federal and state officers to secure the area. The Attorney General's Office has launched an investigation to ensure compliance with firearms regulations and protect assets in this border region.
