On 16 August 2021, at the entry to Daung Gyi village (Taze township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), two private cars carrying military forces were hit by landmines planted by the Taze People Comrades. Casualties unknown. The military inspected pedestrians on the village main road afterwards.
