On 5 August 2026, Russian forces shelled Kyiv - Desnianskyi, Kyiv, with ballistic, Iskander and Tsyrkon missiles, damaging civilian infrastructure. As a result of the attack, a logistics center of Epitsentr Corporation, as well as two large warehouse complexes, were completely destroyed. The Epitsentr Ceramic Corporation plant also sustained significant damage when a Russian missile struck the production area directly. Casualties unknown.
