On 16 August 2021, the Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF) continued to clash with the Tigray Peoples Liberation Front (TPLF) forces in Sali (South Gondar, Amhara). ENDF attacked TPLF forces through an airstrike. No fatalities and/or injuries reported.
