On 5 August 2026, Houthi forces conducted drone strike targeting the military positions of the 'southern' forces (coded as generic IRG military forces + Giants Brigade) in Al Masharih front (Ad Dhalee, Ad Dali). No damage was reported. Houthi forces also shelled with over 10 shells southern forces positions on the Battar Hajar front (coded to Al Masharih). Casualties unknown.
