On 1 August 2026, BLF militants attacked a Frontier Corps post with a hand grenade and shelled a Frontier Corps camp with grenade launchers in the Sangani Sar and Hirok market areas (coded as Hirok, Kech, Balochistan), injuring two Frontier Corps personnel and causing additional material damage. Total 2 injured and no fatalities.
