Firearms, communications equipment, and supplies were seized in the same operation.

Furthermore, as a result of the sustained offensive being carried out by the Rapid Deployment Force No. 7 of the Colombian Army (@COL_EJERCITO), in recent hours, A. Diamante, the alleged leader of the Manuel Alexander Ariza substructure of the Clan del Golfo criminal organization, was killed in military operations.

The operation, carried out in the rural area of ​​the municipality of Montecristo, in southern Bolívar, allowed soldiers to neutralize this individual, who had been committing crimes and terrorizing the population between the municipalities of El Bagre and Segovia, in Antioquia.

These results are part of an ongoing operation that, in the last two weeks, has led to the capture of four other alleged members of the aforementioned illegal group and the rescue of a minor. We will continue this offensive to thwart the intentions of these illegal groups, improve security conditions in the area, and protect its inhabitants.
