Russians fire multiple-launch rocket system at Slovyansk, killing one and wounding five.
Russian forces struck a logistics hub in Slovyansk, Donetsk region, with a “Tornado-S” multiple-launch rocket system, killing one person and wounding five others.
According to Ukrinform, Vadym Liakh, head of the Slovyansk City Military Administration, reported this on Facebook.
“On Friday, August 7, at 2:45 p.m., the enemy struck the logistics hub with a ‘Tornado-S’ MLRS. Three dozen private homes were damaged, and four cars were destroyed,” he said.
According to Liakh, there are currently five known wounded individuals who are receiving medical care.
“We also have one fatality. At this time, the victim has not been identified,” added the head of the Slovyansk City Military Administration.
As reported by Ukrinform, Russian invaders shelled Slovyansk in the Donetsk region five times overnight and on the morning of Friday, August 7. A woman was wounded, and high-rise buildings, a gas station, and warehouses were damaged.
