SAA event in Mexico on Wed 5th August 2026

Two siblings were executed early Wednesday morning, August 5, in the municipality of San Salvador Huixcolotla, Puebla. The victims were identified as 16-year-old Emanuel Flores Torres and 22-year-old Laura Flores Torres.

The armed attack occurred minutes after 4:00 a.m. at the intersection of Prolongación Hidalgo Sur street and the federal highway to Tehuacán, next to the Central de Abasto.

Municipal Police officers arrived at the scene after receiving citizen reports of gunfire in the street. Upon arriving at the scene, officers located a black KIA Forte sports car with license plate BVH-097-A from the state of Baja California.

Inside the vehicle were the lifeless bodies of the two young people, both with multiple gunshot wounds. The car showed bullet holes in the body and windows, as well as significant damage to the front and left side. Therefore, investigators believe the assailants rammed the vehicle to force the victims to stop before shooting them.

Those responsible for the attack managed to escape to an unknown location. Meanwhile, the corresponding investigations and the removal of the bodies were left in the hands of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for the Investigation of Gender Violence Crimes Against Women, attached to the Tepeaca judicial district, in order to clarify the motive for the crime and identify the perpetrators.
