Oil refinery on fire in Yaroslavl following drone attack.
Mikhail Yevraev, governor of the Yaroslavl region of the Russian Federation, stated that 88 drones attacked the region on the night of August 5-6. He stated that this was the largest-scale attack on the region to date.

Yevraev reported that the attack caused a private house to burn down, shattered windows in several apartment buildings, and damaged cars belonging to residents. According to the governor, there were no casualties as a result of the attack.
It is reported that overnight, the exit from Yaroslavl toward Moscow was closed “for security reasons.”
Meanwhile, according to the results of Astra’s OSINT analysis, the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery in Yaroslavl is on fire as a result of the attack.
It is claimed that one of the fires broke out on the refinery’s premises; the location of the other fire has not yet been determined.
The Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery processes approximately 15 million metric tons of crude oil per year and is one of the five largest Russian oil refineries. Its product range includes Euro-5-Compliant automotive gasoline and diesel fuel, aviation kerosene and jet fuel, a wide range of oils, bitumen, paraffin wax products, aromatic hydrocarbons, liquefied gases, and fuel oil.
In addition, Vitaly Korolev, governor of Russia’s Tver region, reported damage to the facade of the Wildberries logistics complex as a result of a drone attack.
According to the region’s governor, “minor” damage to the Wildberries building’s facade occurred “as a result of falling drone debris.” Also, in the Kalininsky district, drone debris damaged several outbuildings.
Korolev claims that no one was injured as a result of the attack.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that 605 drones were allegedly shot down overnight over the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Oryol, Rostov, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tambov, Tver, and Tula, Yaroslavl regions, the Moscow region, the Krasnodar region, the temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as over the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.
