One soldier was killed and many were injured in an attack on a junta military convoy along the Meiktila-Taunggyi Road in Thazi Township, Mandalay Region, with wounded troops being rushed to the military hospital in Aungban, according to a military telegram.

On July 25 at around 5:45 PM, an armed group ambushed two military vehicles traveling from Meiktila toward Taunggyi near Myitson Curve, located between mileposts (47/1) and (47/2) between Kyat Sakhan Village and Lel Pyin Village in Thazi Township.
