A junta military column advancing to perform mine-clearing operations was hit by explosives in Pale Township, Sagaing Region, resulting in casualties, according to a local source.

On July 21 at around 1:50 PM, the junta column advancing from Pale town toward Mya Kone Village triggered mines set by revolutionary forces.

Although casualties occurred among the junta troops during the explosion, the exact number has not yet been confirmed. During a area-clearing operation conducted by revolutionary forces after the junta column retreated, bloodstains were discovered at the site of the blast.
