Two police officers were killed during an attack on the Pyalo local police station in Aunglan Township, Magway Region, an official from the Magway Region People's Defense Force (Aunglan) told Khonumthung News / Khit Thit Media.

The BRAVO Fire Team, operating under Thayet District Battalion 2, launched an attack on the Pyalo local police station in Aunglan Township around 5:30 PM on July 28.

During the attack, one police officer on guard duty in front of the station died on the spot. Three other police officers inside the station were injured during the shooting; one died upon arrival at the hospital due to severe injuries, while the remaining two police officers are still receiving medical treatment.
