Two soldiers killed in security vehicle for Sagaing Division 33 convoy hit by landmine

Sagaing, July 31

An official from the Lingyun Nyinaung guerrilla group told Red Peacock News that a terrorist military vehicle that was providing security near the irrigation ditch in Konywa Village, Sagaing Region, was detonated by a mine on July 28. The terrorist military vehicle that was struck by the mine was providing security for a terrorist military convoy traveling from the Northwestern Regional Command to the 33rd Division in Sagaing on July 28. An official from the Lingyun Nyinaung guerrilla force said, “Two people died. The men who were injured by the mine fled and ran away. They left the body and the car behind. After a long time, they came to collect the body and took the car.” This attack was carried out by the Eagle Brothers guerrilla group.
