Locals say the terrorist army shot and killed only two locals and a defense comrade.

According to local sources, the terrorist army shot and killed a defense comrade and two civilians in Khin Mon village, Chaung U Township, on the Monywa-Mandalay road yesterday (July 30). A local source said, “Asha is close to the terrorist army posts. They are always alerted and fired upon. They are not hiding and waiting. Asha is often burned and civilians are killed.”

The terrorist military lobby claims that they carried out the ambush attack yesterday (July 31) after receiving information that members of the People's Defense Forces would visit Khin Mon village. Terrorist military lobby channels posted photographs and documents of the three dead men, bullets, records, and walkie-talkies. The Khin Mon village where the incident occurred is located between the Khin Mon Beksoryan and Mya Pale Si Saeng, where the terrorist army was stationed. The terrorist army burned down people's homes and killed civilians from 2023 to 2025. According to the Government of National Unity and the Ministry of Human Rights, 5,809 people were killed in violent attacks by the military across the country between 2021, when the coup took place, and 2026.
