Suspected Kidnappers Kill Man, Abduct Two Children in Kaduna

Suspected kidnappers have killed a man and abducted his two children during a midnight attack on Ungwan Zange Village in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the attackers stormed the residence of the victim, identified simply as Jonathan, at about 1:00 a.m. on July 29 and opened fire.

Troops of Sector 7, Operation Enduring Peace , deployed at Sub-Sector 71, Sanga, responded immediately to reports of the attack. However, on arrival, they found that the gunmen had already fled the scene.

The sources said Jonathan was shot dead during the attack, while his two children were abducted by the assailants to an unknown destination.

Troops, in collaboration with other security agencies, have launched a coordinated search-and-rescue operation to locate the abducted children and apprehend the fleeing kidnappers.

Security forces have intensified patrols and combing operations across the area as efforts continue to rescue the victims and bring the perpetrators to justice.
