On 10 August 2021, on Gangaw-Kalay road (coded as Gangaw) (Gangaw district, Magway region), a landmine planted by the Yaw PDF exploded and hit three military trucks. RFA reported some soldiers were injured. DVB reported that the last truck was hit and two soldiers were killed with three injured.
