On 29 July 2026, a gunman from Hseiniyeh town in Rural Damascus threw a hand grenade into a house in Jaramana Camp in Jaramana town in Rural Damascus governorate for unknown reasons before fleeing. The explosion injured a girl and a neighboring man with shrapnel wounds to the neck. Police forces of Syria circulated the suspect's description to facilitate his arrest. There were no fatalities.
