On 11 August 2021, the NAF rebel forces fired 122mm mortars at the governmental positions near Novomykhaylivka, Donetsk. As a result of the shelling, the territory of the farm and the power transmission line were damaged, which led to the blackout of the settlements of Taramchuk, Slavne, Solodke and Novomykhaylivka. In addition, Novomykhaylivka village was left without water supply. During the day, one Ukrainian soldier was wounded.
