On 11 August 2021, at least 18 Taliban militants including a commander were killed and 4 wounded in the Afghan military forces airstrike in the Imam Bakri Bridge and Kudbarq areas of Dihdadi and the Arab Mazari area of Chimtal districts, Balkh. Fatalities coded as 18 that split across 2 locations: Dihdadi (9), Chimtal (9). Two more Taliban militants were killed in Dihdadi district on the same day by Mazar-Sholgara highway.
